About the organization and functioning of National bureau of statistics
Based on Item b) article 7 of the Law No. 136/2017 on the Government (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, No. 252, the Art. 412), with subsequent changes, and parts (5) article 7 of the Law No. 93/2017 on official statistics (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 216-228, 349), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government
1. Approve:
1.1. Regulations on the organization and functioning of National bureau of statistics according to appendix No. 1;
1.2. Structure of central office of National bureau of statistics according to appendix No. 2.
2. Establish the extreme number of staff of National bureau of statistics in number of 484 units from which 260 units for central office and 224 units for territorial subdivisions (the regional centers of statistics).
3. To national bureau of statistics in addition to attract on the basis of the individual employment contracts signed for certain term, 240 operators-interviewers for carrying out annual and intra annual inspections of households, inspections of consumer prices, and also inspection of small agricultural producers. If necessary the National bureau of statistics can attract additional personnel within the approved budget to carrying out periodic statistical inspections. Financing will be performed at the expense of the means of the government budget provided for program implementation of statistical works and/or from external sources.
4. In appendix No. 2 to the Order of the Government No. 244/2018 about National council according to the statistics (2018, Art. No. 95-104, 277), with subsequent changes, line item "The representative appointed by National bureau of statistics the secretary of Council" to replace the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with line item "The representative of Academy of Sciences of Moldova".
