About approval of professional standards in the field of wholesale and retail trade

According to Item 5 of article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About professional qualifications", I ORDER:

1. Approve:

1) the professional standard "Management in Wholesale and Retail Trade", according to appendix 1 to this order;

2) the professional standard "Marketing Activity in Wholesale and Retail Trade", according to appendix 2 to this order;

3) the professional standard "Activities for Trade Servicing in Wholesale and Retail Trade", according to appendix 3 to this order;

4) the professional standard "Merchandising in Wholesale and Retail Trade", according to appendix 4 to this order;

5) the professional standard "Activities for Promotion of Goods in Wholesale and Retail Trade", according to appendix 5 to this order.

2. Declare invalid the order Order of the Deputy. The Minister of Trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan of May 14, 2024 No. 210-HK "About approval of professional standards in the field of trading activity";

3. To provide to committee of trade of the Ministry of Trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) within five calendar days from the date of signing of this order the direction it electronically in the Kazakh and Russian languages in the Republican state company on the right of economic maintaining "Institute of the legislation and legal information of" the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan for official publication and inclusion in Reference control bank of regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) placement of this order on Internet resource of the Ministry of Trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan after its official publication.

4. To impose control of execution of this order on the supervising vice-Minister of Trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. This order becomes effective on the expiration of 5 working days after day of its first official publication.

Professional standard "Management in Wholesale and Retail Trade"

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. Scope of the professional standard.

The professional standard establishes general requirements to knowledge, abilities, skills and levels of qualifications to professions (occupations) in the field of professional activity of heads in wholesale and retail trade.

2. In this professional standard the following terms and determinations are applied:

1) wholesale trade – business activity on sales of goods, intended for the subsequent sale or other purposes which are not connected with personal, family, home and other similar use;

2) retail trade – business activity on sale to the buyer of the goods intended for the personal, family, home or other use which is not connected with business activity;

3) shop – the stationary shopping facility provided by one or several subjects of domestic trade, performing sales of goods to buyers for their personal, family, home use can enter into retail chain stores.

3. In the professional standard the following reducings are used:

1) RK – the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) ETKS – single wage rate book of works and professions of workers;

3) KS – the job evaluation catalog of positions of heads, specialists and other employees;

4) OKED – the general state qualifier of types of economic activity;

5) media – mass media.
