About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In part (2) article 2 of the Law on departure from the Republic of Moldova and entry into the Republic of Moldova No. 269-XIII of November 9, 1994 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, No. 6, of the Art. 54), with subsequent changes, the words "Managements for Refugees" shall be replaced with words "Managements concerning shelter and integration".
Art. II. – In the Law on identification documents of national passport system No. 273-XIII of November 9, 1994 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, No. 9, of the Art. 89), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
1. Part (Article 2 to state 12) in the following edition:
"(12) Travel documents for refugees are issued for a period of five years. The travel document for beneficiaries of humanitarian protection is issued for a period of three years.".
2. In part (shall be replaced with words 11-1) Articles 3 of the word "one year" "three years".
Art. III. – In Item a) parts (1) article 17 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024-XIV of June 2, 2000 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 98-101, 709), with subsequent changes, words of "persons using political asylum" shall be replaced with words "persons using humanitarian protection and political asylum".
Art. IV. – In the Law on shelter in the Republic of Moldova No. 270-XVI of December 18, 2008 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, Art. No. 53-54, 145), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:
1. Part (Article 1 to state 1) in the following edition:
"(1) This law establishes legal status of persons petitioning for provision of shelter, persons using international protection, temporary protection and political asylum and also the procedure of provision, termination and deprivation of protection.".
