Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 12, 2000 "About republican and local meetings" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2000, No. 67, 2/186; 2011, No. 64, 2/1822) the following changes and amendments, having been reworded as follows it:

Chapter 1 General provisions
Article 1. Legislation on republican and local meetings
The legislation on republican and local meetings consists of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, this Law and other acts of the legislation.
Article 2. Coverage of this Law
This Law governs the public relations connected with preparation and holding republican and local meetings in the Republic of Belarus.
The procedure for preparation and holding republican and local meetings established by this Law does not extend on:
the meetings of groups of employees of the organizations, persons in the place of study or service, members (participants) of political parties, labor unions, religious and other organizations held in rooms according to the legislation, charters of the specified organizations (regulations on them);
meetings of founders (constituent assemblies) held according to the legislation for creation (organization) of public associations, consumer cooperatives and other organizations;
the meetings held according to the legislation on mass actions;
