About compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability

1. This Law governs the relations connected with implementation of compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability, establishes:
1) control of compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability and its legal guarantees;
2) conditions of receipt of the right to insurance kompensantion (daleestrakhovy benefits) within compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability;
3) types of insurance benefit, conditions of their calculation, appointment and payment.
2. This Law does not govern the relations connected with compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability owing to labor accidents or occupational diseases.
3. Provisions of this Law do not extend to the military personnel.
The relations on compulsory social insurance on cases of temporary disability are governed by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, international treaties of the Republic of Armenia, this Law, the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About payments of obligatory social security", other laws and other legal acts.
If international treaties of the Republic of Armenia establish other regulations than provided by this Law, then regulations of international treaties are applied.
