1. Approve the enclosed Procedure for registration and issue of the diplomatic passport and service passport.

2. Recognize invalid:

the order the MFA of Russia of July 21, 2014 No. 12457 "About approval of the Procedure for issue of the diplomatic passport and service passport, proving the identity of the citizen of the Russian Federation on which citizens of the Russian Federation perform departure from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation" (registration No. 33614) is registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on August 15, 2014;

Item of 5 changes made to some regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation concerning submission of the data on labor activity containing in appendix to the order the MFA of Russia of September 25, 2020 No. 17006 (registration No. 60103) is registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on September 30, 2020.

Procedure for registration and issue of the diplomatic passport and service passport

1. The diplomatic passport and the service passport are drawn up and issued by structural division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation - Consular department (further - KD the MFA of Russia).

2. The diplomatic passport and the service passport are issued for a period of up to five years <1>.

3. 4. For execution of the diplomatic passport or the service passport the authorized representative of the directing organization shall file to KD the MFA of Russia the following documents:

4.1. The letter request of the directing organization (further - the letter request) (the recommended sample is given in appendix No. 1 to this Procedure). The letter request shall be completed on the official form of the directing organization with indication of reference number, is signed by the head (deputy manager) of the directing organization or the head (deputy manager) of its authorized division and is under seal the directing organization.

In the letter request also (if is available) the abbreviated name of the directing organization, the registration room of the directing organization in KD the MFA of Russia, surname, name (names), middle name (in the presence), place of employment and the citizen's position on whose name the diplomatic passport or the service passport, document type <2> (the diplomatic passport or the service passport) is drawn up shall be specified complete.
