According to provisions of Art. 21 and Art. 24 of h (6) the Law No. 221/2007 on veterinary and sanitary activities, Art. 15 of h (1) the item e) the Law No. 1031/2000 on state regulation of foreign trade activity, the Order of the Government No. 229/2017 about approval of Veterinary sanitary standard about import and transit of poultry and products from poultry, and also requirements to veterinary and sanitary certification, the Order of the Government No. 939/2008 about approval of Veterinary sanitary standard on supervision, control and fight against bird flu, the item of 14 subitems 16), item 19 of the Regulations on the organization and functioning of the National agency on safety of foodstuff approved by the Order of the Government No. 14/2023 about the organization and functioning of the National agency for safety of foodstuff, item 42 of the Regulations on procedure for carrying out audit and agreement signature about equivalence of competent authority of the third country products and offal of the animal origin, live animals, seed material, ova and germs to the Republic of Moldova approved by the Order of the CEO of the National agency on the safety of foodstuff No. 456/2024, intending to export considering emergence of multiple outbreaks of high-pathogenic bird flu in a number of the countries, for the purpose of strengthening of preventive measures and prevention of spread of bird flu in the territory of the Republic of Moldova I ORDER:

1. Resolve import of poultry, the birds containing in bondage, or other birds, and also the products and offal received from them coming from zones, the authorized countries for import to the European Union, transportation of such goods, according to Executive regulations of the Commission (EU) 2021/404 of March 24, 2021, establishing lists of the third countries, their territories or zones from which import in the Union of animals, reproductive material and products of animal origin according to Regulations (EU) 2016/429 European Parliament and Council is allowed.

2. In case of member countries of the European Union to recognize the principle of regionalization (zoning) stated in the Executive decision of the Commission (EU) 2023/2447 of October 24, 2023, rather emergency measures in connection with the outbreaks of high-pathogenic bird flu in some state members.

3. Submit economic import agents the application about intention to import the goods specified in item 1 of this order no later than 5 (five) working days (until import), to the NABPP (ghiseu@ansa.gov.md) single center. In case of the countries specified in the item 1, to attach sanitary and veterinary certificates on live birds from whom the products (in case of products and offal) signed by the official veterinarian to analyze whether there are these birds from the zones specified in Item 1 are received.

4. This order becomes effective from 14.11.2024 and is published in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

5. In case of disagreement with this order, it can be disputed on preliminary request in the National agency on safety of foodstuff (мун. Chisinau, Ulitsa Mikhail Kogelnichana, 63), within 30 days from the moment of the message or the notification of this order.

6. To impose control of execution of this order on the deputy director general of the National agency on safety of foodstuff Alexander MANCHU.
