1. This Provision determines procedure for planning of on-duty time and time of rest in case of accomplishment of flights of members of crews of air vehicles (further – AF) civil aviation taking into account features of the organization of flight work and for the purpose of preserving professional efficiency of flight personnel, increase in level of aviation safety according to requirements of parts one and third Appendix 6 "Operation of air vehicles" to the Convention on the international civil aviation accepted in Chicago on December 7, 1944, Doc 9966 "Management on supervision of use of mechanisms of control of exhaustion".
2. Working hours, working airborne time and airborne time belong to on-duty time of crew members of AF.
3. For the purposes of this provision the main terms and their determinations established by the Air code of the Republic of Belarus and also the following terms and their determinations are used:
acclimatization – condition in which circadian (daily) internal clocks of the crew member of AF are synchronized with the time zone in which there is this crew member of AF. The crew member of AF is considered acclimatized if the difference in time zones between the point of departure and landings of AF does not exceed two astronomical hours;
basic time – the local time limited two hours in the place of the beginning of working airborne time in which the crew member is acclimatized;
rest time – continuous period of time to or after accomplishment of service duties;
cabin crew of AF – the faces of aeronautical personnel from among crew of AF having certificates of the flight attendant or the operator and which are carrying out onboard AF of obligation, determined by the operator of AF;
cruising level – the echelon maintained during considerable part of flight;
flight crew of AF – the faces of aeronautical personnel having certificates of flight personnel to whom the operator of AF assigns the obligations connected with management of AF during working airborne time;
the minimum necessary structure of crew of AF – the structure of crew of AF determined by flight manual of the AF this type;
raid of hours – the total duration of airborne time of the crew member of AF for certain period (24 hours, calendar month, calendar year) during which the aeronautical personnel fulfilled duties onboard AF as a part of crew of AF;
