In recent years in the republic large-scale works on gardening of settlements, protection of trees and bushes, and also expansion of green zones are carried out. Among them, realization nationally the national project "Yashil Macon" directed to increase in wood plantings, and also introduction of the moratorium on cutting down of valuable breeds of trees and bushes.
However aggressive actions of individuals in relation to flora objects, including the cases connected with the facts of illegal cutting down of trees are the reasons of deterioration in general ecological situation.
Now availability of several types of the administrative responsibility for cutting down, stubbing, damage or destruction of trees and bushes interferes with forming of single law-enforcement practice and becomes the reason of different problems.
With respect thereto in the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility the administrative responsibility for development of the project documentation leading to cutting down, stubbing, damage or destruction of valuable types of trees and bushes is established and also measures of administrative punishment for illegal cutting down, stubbing and damage of trees amplify and duplicative regulations are excluded.
Besides, in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About protection and use of flora" obligations of the persons which illegally cut down or which destroyed valuable types of the trees and bushes which are not entering into the state forest fund, on landing of compensation saplings of trees and bushes instead of illegally the cut-down and destroyed trees and bushes in that place where the cut-down and destroyed tree and bush burgeoned, and to care of them within three years are established, and also application of financial sanctions against legal entities for illegal cutting down or destruction of valuable types of trees and bushes is provided.
