According to articles 10 and 17 of the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic", article 10 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About ensuring unity of measurements" the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Approve the Procedure for provision and withdrawal of the right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certifications of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments to legal entities, according to appendix.

2. Recognize invalid:

- the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About approval of the Procedure for provision and withdrawal of the right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certification of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments to legal entities" of July 4, 2013 No. 401;

- Item 6 of the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About modification and amendments in some decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" of March 25, 2015 No. 153;

- Item 2 of the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About entering of amendment and change into some decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" of April 11, 2016 No. 204.

3. This resolution becomes effective after fifteen days from the date of official publication.

Procedure for provision and withdrawal of the right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certifications of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments to legal entities

1. General provisions

1. This Procedure establishes rules of provision, prolongation and withdrawal of the right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certifications of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments to legal entities irrespective of accessory and patterns of ownership.

2. According to the decision of state body on ensuring unity of measurements by separate types of measurements, in the absence of the corresponding standards of national authority on metrology, provision of the right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certifications of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments to legal entities as a part of whom metrological services function (further - metrological service) is allowed.

3. The right to carrying out testing of measuring instruments and (or) certifications of standard samples for the purpose of approval of type and (or) checking of measuring instruments is provided to metrological services which are not engaged in production, import, sale and repair of measuring instruments in the declared spheres of activity.
