Article 1. "Article 185-2. Carrying cold weapon or objects which can be used as cold weapon

Carrying objects which can be used as cold weapon, in the open (not covered) type in public places in the cases connected with their use in professional activity, sports activities or the economic and household purposes

attracts imposing of penalty from one second up to one basic settlement size.

Carrying cold weapon and objects which can be used as cold weapon in public places in the cases which are not connected with their use in hunting, professional activity, sports activities or the economic and household purposes, and is equal carrying for the purpose of self-defense

attracts imposing of penalty from one up to five basic settlement sizes with confiscation of objects of offense or without that.

Article 185-3. Illicit trafficking in objects which turnover as civil and office weapon is prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Article 3. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About weapon" of July 29, 2019 No. ZRU-550 (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2019, No. 7, the Art. 388) the following amendments and changes:

1) in Article 3:

add with the paragraph the seventh the following content:

"objects which can be used as cold weapon - the bladed, cutting objects made in the industrial or self-made way (knives, probes and others with the undermined edge the pricking, cutting objects), objects which in case of use of physical force can do harm (baseball bats, bits for playing softball), held for use in professional, productive or sports activity or the economic and household purposes";

paragraphs of the seventh - to consider the thirteenth respectively paragraphs the eighth - the fourteenth;

2) in Article 9:

state Item 6 in the following edition:

"6) carrying for the purpose of self-defense of civil weapon (except for self-defense weapon), cold weapon and objects which can be used as cold weapon";

state Item 8 and 9 in the following edition:

"8) carrying weapon and objects which can be used as cold weapon, in the open (not covered) type in public places, including in urban, suburban, intercity and international transportation;

9) carrying objects which can be used as cold weapon, in public places in the cases which are not connected with their use in professional activity, sports activities or the economic and household purposes".

Article 4. Article 5. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

provide review and cancellation by state bodies of their regulatory legal acts contradicting this Law.

Article 6. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
