About modification of some legal acts

This organic law is adopted based on article 106/1 of the Constitution by acceptance on itself the Government of responsibility to Parliament.

Art. I. - In the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Parts (1) and (Article 12 to state 2) in the following edition:

"(1) the Size of minimum pension on age is established by the Government.

(The Size of minimum pension on restriction of opportunities constitutes 2):

a) in case of heavy restriction of opportunities - 75 percent of the size of minimum pension on age;

b) in case of the expressed restriction of opportunities - 70 percent of the size of minimum pension on age;

c) in case of average restriction of opportunities - 50 percent of the size of minimum pension on age.".

2. In part (1) Article 13 of the word "annual growth of consumer price index over the country for previous year", shall be replaced with words "the average annual growth of consumer price indexes over the country for the last three years,".

Art. II. - In Item 13) parts one of article 7 of the Law on social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash, No. 909/1992 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 80-82, 413), with subsequent changes, words "growth of consumer price index for previous year;" shall be replaced with words "the average annual growth of consumer price indexes for the last three years;".
