About modification of some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on reserve of Armed forces No. 1244/2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 124-125, 989), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Items a) and b) parts (Article 5 of the word "for ordinary, sergeant and subofficer structures" shall be replaced with words 3) "for ordinary and sergeant structures".

2. In Article 15:

Item a) parts (to state 2) in the following edition:

"a) for sergeants of reserve in military rank:

- the corporal - 3 years;

- the sergeant of III class - 3 years;

- the sergeant of the II class - 4 years;

- the sergeant of the I class - 4 years;

- the staff sergeant - 4 years;";

Items a) and b) parts (to state 3) in the following edition:

"a) to soldiers of reserve, to military rank "soldier of III class of reserve" inclusive - the head of territorial military administrative authority;

b) to sergeants of reserve, to military rank "chief sergeant of reserve" inclusive - the head of the central military administrative authority;".

Art. II. - In the Law on training of citizens for protection of the Homeland No. 1245/2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 137-138, 1054), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. Part (Article 19 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) In Armed forces the following military ranks are established:

a) for ordinary structure:

- soldier of III class;

- soldier of the II class;

- soldier of the I class;

b) for sergeant structure:

- corporal;

- sergeant of III class;

- sergeant of the II class;

- sergeant of the I class;

- staff sergeant;

- chief sergeant;

c) for younger officers:

- lieutenant;

- senior lieutenant;

- captain;

d) for the senior officers:

- major;

- lieutenant colonel;

- colonel;

e) for the highest officers:

- brigade general;
