About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning providing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men during passing of military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military forming

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. Article 269 of the Charter of internal service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About the Charter of internal service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 22-23, of Art. 194; 2005, No. 3, to the Art. 76) to state in the following edition:

"269. The military personnel in structure of daily details is appointed with compliance with law concerning maternity welfare and the childhood".

2. 2. In the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 38, Art. 324 with the following changes):

Part the twelfth Article 1 to add 1) with the paragraph the second such content:

"Women fulfill military duty on equal terms with men (except as specified, stipulated by the legislation concerning maternity welfare and the childhood, and also prohibition of discrimination on the basis of floor) which includes acceptance in voluntary procedure (under the contract) and conscription, passing of military service, service in war reserve, accomplishment of military duty in inventory and observance of rules of military accounting";

2) in Article 20:

paragraphs two and third to state to part one in the following edition:

"faces of ordinary structure which undergo compulsory military service or military service during mobilization, for the special period, the reservists, persons liable for call-up who do not have military ranks sergeant, foreman and officers, person aged from 18 years which have the higher, professional, complete or basic general secondary education, the stay which did not reach age limit on military service, - on military service under the contract of faces of ordinary structure;
