Article 1. "About reproductive health and the reproductive rights of the person" of December 11, 2002 to state article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia to ZR-474 in the following edition:
"Article 10. Abortion (abortion)
1. Each woman has the right to abortion (abortion). Abortion (abortion) (further - abortion):
1) to the term of pregnancy of 12 weeks it is carried out according to the written application of the woman. Interruption to the term of pregnancy of 12 weeks on medical indications is carried out in the written consent of the woman.
2) on the term of pregnancy from 12 to 22 weeks it is carried out only on medical (inclusive, in case of probability of inheritance of the disease connected with floor) or to social indications, in the written consent of the woman.
2. In any other case which is not provided in accepted in the list of medical or social indications provided by part 8 of this Article, including the termination of pregnancy by the doctor caused by floor on the term from 12 to 22 weeks it is forbidden.
3. Termination of pregnancy according to the statement of the minor (in case of not acquisition of the full legal capacity established by the law) is carried out according to written consent of his legal representatives, and in case of impossibility of it, based on the decision of the permanent medical commission created by the relevant act of the head of executive body of health organization.
4. In stipulated in Item 1 part of 1 this Article cases, before termination of pregnancy the doctor shall provide to the woman who addressed it term for acceptance of the final decision on termination of pregnancy, three calendar days (and if the third calendar day corresponds with day of the expiration of the 12th week of pregnancy, then before the expiration of this term) which is calculated from the moment of the first address of the woman to the doctor for termination of pregnancy.
