About introduction of amendments and changes in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About batches"

Article 1. "About batches" (further – the Law) to add part 1 of article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of ZR-410 of July 3, 2002 with Item 7.1 of the following content:

"7.1. During elections to National assembly party blocks can be created by at least than two batches,".

Article 2. To state article 21 of the Law in the following edition:

"Article 21. Exclusive rights of batches, party blocks

1. Batches and party blocks have the right to propose candidates of National assembly.

2. Promotion of candidates of batches, party blocks on elections to National assembly is performed according to the decisions made at meetings of permanent governing bodies of batches, party blocks. In the procedure established by the party charter, heads of territorial and structural subdivisions of batch participate in this meeting. The batch entering the party block cannot independently participate in elections. The batch can be part only of one block.

3. Batches can propose candidates for heads of municipalities and members of council. Batch can push in candidates for heads of municipalities and members of council also person which is not the member of the batch.".

Article 3. To add article 22 of the Law with Item 3 following of content:

"3) within 5 days after the termination of the term established for registration of the electoral lists of the batches participating in elections, the batches participating in elections represent to Central Election Commission the declaration on property and the income of batch (party blocks – for the batches entering them).".

Article 4. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
