"14. Local police inspector and his assistant:
1) performs prevention of offenses of recurrent, household, alcoholic crime, identification of the reasons and conditions promoting them;
2) provides protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of man and citizen against illegal encroachments;
3) carries out individual prevention of offenses concerning persons staying on the preventive registry (further - the prevented persons) in law-enforcement bodies;
4) is performed by collection of significant information on the administrative site and transfers it to the interested divisions of Department of Internal Affairs, and also to other state bodies;
5) establishes the reasons and conditions promoting making of criminal offenses, takes the measures directed to their elimination;
6) gives help to the physical persons which were affected by illegal encroachments, incidents and accidents, and also being in the helpless or other condition dangerous to their life and health;
