About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – Article 21 of the Law on social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash, No. 909-XII of January 30, 1992 (repeated publication: 2004, 413), with subsequent changes and amendments to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 80-82, in the following edition:

"Article 21. Indexation of pensions

Pensions are indexed according to article 13 of the Law on the public pension system No. 156-XIV of October 14, 1998.".

Art. II. – In the Law on the status of the judge No. 544-XIII of July 20, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 63), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes:

1. State Article 32 in the following edition:

"Article 32. Provision of pensions

The judge has pension entitlement according to the Law on the public pension system No. 156-XIV of October 14, 1998.".

2. Recognize Article 32-2 invalid.

Art. III. – In the Pensions act of the national social insurance No. 156-XIV of October 14, 1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes and additions:

1. To state the name of the law in the following edition:

"Law on the public pension system".

2. State Article 1 in the following edition:

"Article 1. Subject and purpose of the law

(1) This law establishes the legal base of functioning of the public pension system, and also its interaction with the state system of social insurance and other state mechanisms of social protection of the population.
