About entering of amendments into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About hydrometeorological activities"

Article 1. ZR-145 of February 7, 2001 "About hydrometeorological activities" (further – the Law) to add preamble of the Law of the Republic of Armenia with the words "and to ensuring hydrometeorological safety".

Article 2. To add article 2 of the Law with the following new concepts:

"the dangerous hydrometeorological or heliogeophysical phenomena (further – the dangerous phenomena) – the natural phenomena arising in the atmosphere and the hydrosphere which on the value, intensity, duration or time of origin threaten life, health and property of the population and also can cause significant material damage to different industries of economy;

the adverse hydrometeorological phenomena - the natural phenomena arising in the atmosphere and the hydrosphere which on the intensity and duration do not reach criteria of the dangerous phenomena, but can do certain harm;

hydrometeorological safety – protection of person, society and state against the dangerous and adverse hydrometeorological or heliogeophysical phenomena, against impact of global changes of climatic conditions,

basic objects of the state supervisory network - the objects having long and a numbers of these observations or are included in the international meteorological networks of the International meteorological organization or interstate network of the Countries of the independent states.".

Article 3. And part 4 after words of "The state network of observations" to add part 3 of article 19 of the Law after the word "performing" with the word "basic".
