About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About protection of atmospheric air"

Article 1. In the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About protection of atmospheric air" (ZR-121 of November 1, 1994, further – the Law) the word "cars" shall be replaced with words "vehicles".
Article 2. To declare paragraph 4 of Article 18 invalid.
Article 3. Add the Law with article 18.1 of the following content:
"Article 18.1. Procedure for observance of standard rates of emissions of pollutants from vehicles
1. For the purpose of ensuring compliance with maximum permissible standard rates of emissions of pollutants from vehicles, measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles are performed.
Measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles are performed by means of the measurement points operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia (further – measurement points).
2. Measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles are performed by the legal entity having the license for carrying out measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles, according to the procedure, established by the law of the Republic of Armenia.
Measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles are performed at the expense of means of the legal entities and physical persons using vehicles and individual entrepreneurs (further – users of vehicles).
3. Measurements of emissions of pollutants from vehicles are performed once a year, and from vehicles of the organizations performing regular passenger transportations by road transport public – two times a year, within three months preceding day of representation of vehicles on technical inspection.
