Article 1. "About electronic documents and the digital signature" of December 14, 2004 ZR-40-N to add the law of the Republic of Armenia with Article 11.1 of the following content:
"Article 11.1. Application of the digital signature in case of receipt of services or the effect which had by state bodies and local government bodies
1. The digital signature is applied in case of receipt of services or the effect which had by state bodies and local government bodies electronically.
2. The electronic system created for the purpose of accomplishment of services or actions using the digital signature shall conform to safety requirements, interactions and to the general technical requirements established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
3. For connection to the system specified in part 2 of this Article, electronic systems of legal entities and physical persons shall conform to the requirements established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
4. For the purpose of technical supply of system of rendering the electronic services Government of the Republic of Armenia can create the operator of electronic system who will provide technical supply and coordinating of electronic system. Functions of the operator of electronic system can be assigned to any state body or the legal entity.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day following behind day of official publication.
