About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About legal profession"

Article 1. The fourth and fifth article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About legal profession" (of December 14, 2004, ZR-29-N, further – the Law) to state parts in the following edition:
"General meeting of chamber of lawyers is competent if at meeting there are more than a half of members of chamber of lawyers. Works of general meeting of chamber of lawyers begin with registration of lawyers. In case of duration of works of general meeting of chamber of lawyers more than one day, registration of lawyers happens every day.
Decisions of general meeting of chamber of lawyers are made by a simple majority vote persons participating in vote, open voting, except as specified, provided by this Law. Other cases of carrying out secret vote can be provided by the charter of chamber of lawyers.".
Article 2. The second article 10 of the Law to state part in the following edition:
"The member of council of chamber of lawyers is elected lawyers secret vote in rating procedure, for a period of two years, except for the President of Chamber of lawyers. Council of chamber of lawyers consists of eleven members and the chairman of the board.".
Article 3. The second article 11 of the Law after the words "from the list of lawyers" to add part with the words "in rating procedure".
Article 4. To add Item of 1 part two of article 12 of the Law after the words "having years of service" with the words "in rating procedure".
Article 5. To add article 13 of the Law with part two of the following content:
"The President of Chamber of lawyers that candidate who received more than a half of votes of the participants (who received bulletins) of vote is considered electee.
