About diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic

This Law establishes the legal basis of activities of diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic as component of public service and determines its tasks, functions, and also governs the employment and other relations of staff of diplomatic service connected with implementation of the tasks assigned to them.
The president of the Kyrgyz Republic determines the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the state, represents the Kyrgyz Republic within the country and in the international relations, performs management of foreign policy.
1. The diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic (daleediplomatichesky service) is component of public service of the Kyrgyz Republic providing practical implementation of foreign policy of the Kyrgyz Republic represents and protects the interests of the state in the field of the international relations.
2. The consular service is part of diplomatic service.
In this Law the following concepts are applied:
- diplomatic representation - the body of external relations of the Kyrgyz Republic which is in the territory of foreign state;
- representation under the international organization - the body having appropriate authority and acting in this international organization on behalf of the Kyrgyz Republic;
