About entering of amendments into the Labor code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. Article 172 of the Labor code (further - the Code) the Republic of Armenia of November 9, 2004 to add with part 2.1 following of content:

"2.1. The worker, (natural mother) who gave birth to the child by means of substitute mother is granted leave since the birth of the child till 70th day (in case of the birth of two or more children - up to 110 days).".

Article 2. Add Article 185 with part 3 following of content:

"3. The requirements determined by parts 1 and 2 do not extend to workers of spheres of health care, guardianship (guardianship), children's educational, power supply, gas supply, heat supply, communication and other spheres in which work has specific character if work is performed during one of five subsequent non-working days (holidays, days of remembrance, output). Article 3. To add article 195 of the Code with part 7 of the following content:

"7. If the calculated according to the procedure determined by this Article, average monthly salary or average hourly wage is respectively lower than the minimum monthly salary operating at the moment or the minimum hourly tariff charge, instead of average monthly or average hourly wage the minimum monthly salary operating at the moment or the minimum hourly tariff charge are respectively assumed as a basis.".

Article 4. This law becomes effective since January 1, 2014.
