About entering of amendments into the Law on creative specialists and the creative unions No. 21 of March 1, 2013
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on creative specialists and the creative unions No. 21 of March 1, 2013 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 64-68, 201), with subsequent changes, to make the following additions:
1. To add article 2 after the concept "creative activities in the field of literature, art and journalism" with concept of the following content:
"benefit for merits – form of the monetary assistance from the government budget which is provided for life for special merits in creative activities to the outstanding persons who reached age of 60 years and being residents of the Republic of Moldova;".
2. Add the law with Chapter IV-1 of the following content:
"Chapter IV-1. Benefit for merits
Article 22-1. Organization of benefit for merits
The benefit for merits provided for special achievements and as remuneration for outstanding activities in the following areas of culture is established: musical creativity, performing art, cinematography, literature, fine arts, theater, architecture, national movable and immovable cultural property.
Article 22-2. Provision of benefit for merits
The benefit for merits is provided to outstanding figures in the areas listed in Article 221, which are residents of the Republic of Moldova and do not receive similar benefits from other states.
Article 22-3. Offers on provision of benefit for merits
Offers on provision of benefit for merits are constituted annually by the Ministry of Culture on the basis of offers of the creative unions and are represented for nominating of the National commission on provision of benefit for merits.
