About entering of amendments and changes into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About police"

Article 1. Article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About police" of April 16, 2001, No. ZR-177 (further - the Law) to add with part 2 following of content:

"When ensuring public order the serving polices shall wear uniform of the established type on which in its visible part the distinctive marks giving the chance of identification of the identity of the employee of police are attached.".

Article 2. In article 29 of the Law:

Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"The employee of police in the cases provided by this Law and procedure uses physical force, special means and firearms as exclusive measure so far as it is necessary for execution of the obligations if other means ensuring execution of these obligations is impossible.";

2) the first offer of part 2 to state in the following edition: "Police officers shall have special training within which they study skills of negotiating and belief for the purpose of restriction of use of physical force, special means and firearms, and also to periodically undergo testing of determination of their skills on action in the situations causing use of physical force, special means and firearms.";

Item 1 of part 5 to state 3) in the following edition:

"1) to aim at that the harm done to the offender was minimized;";

"2) to render or provide first aid to the faces which sustained bodily harm without delay reporting to medical institutions about all cases of bodily harms and death;";

Item 3 of part 5 to state 5) in the following edition:

"Without delay to report 3) according to the procedure of subordination about the wounded or all cases of death owing to use (use) of physical force, special means, firearms, and also about each case of application (use) of special means (except for handcuffs and rubber bludgeons) and firearms.";
