About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About local public administration"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About local public administration" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2011, No. 7, the Art. 999) the following changes:

1. In Article 14:

state part 3 in the following edition:

"The meeting of joint sitting of local keneshes on selection of the candidate for the offer to position assignment of the akim is considered taken place if at least two thirds of total number of deputies of joint sitting of local keneshes took part in it. Selected is considered the candidate which gathered majority of votes from total number of deputies of joint sitting of local keneshes. If any of candidates did not gain the necessary number of votes of deputies, the second round of vote on two candidates who got the maximum number of votes following the results of first ballot is held.

In case of impossibility of determination of two candidates for holding the second round of vote intermediate round for determination of candidates for the second round of vote among those candidates who have identical number of votes is held.

Selected in the second round of vote is considered the candidate which collected more than votes of the deputies who took part in vote than other candidate.

If following the results of the second round both candidates gained equal number of votes, these candidates are considered as selected and are offered the Prime Minister for the solution of question of purpose of one of them to the akim's position.

Selection of the candidate for the offer to position assignment of the akim cannot be postponed for the next meeting.";
