1. General provisions

1.1. These Licensed conditions are developed according to the Laws of Ukraine "About state regulation of production, production and use of precious metals and gemstones and control of transactions with them", "About licensing of certain types of economic activity", the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of November 14, 2000 No. 1698 "About approval of the list of bodies of licensing" and establish organizational, production and other requirements for carrying out economic activity on collection, preprocessing of waste and scrap of precious metals and gemstones, gemstones of organogenic education, semiprecious stones (further - waste and scrap of precious metals and gemstones).

1.2. Licensed conditions are obligatory for subjects of managing irrespective of legal form and pattern of ownership which perform economic activity on collection, preprocessing of waste and scrap of precious metals and gemstones (further - the Licensee).

1.3. Within activities for collection, preprocessing of waste and scrap of precious metals and gemstones are performed:

a) collection and preprocessing of waste and scrap of precious metals;

b) collection and preprocessing of waste of gemstones, gemstones of organogenic education, semiprecious stones.

1.4. The economic activity connected with collection of waste and scrap of precious metals and gemstones from own production is not subject to licensing.

1.5. In these Licensed conditions terms are used in such values:

scrap with content of precious metals - details, nodes, products and materials which became unsuitable or lost operational value and contain precious metals in any kind;
