About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Moldova
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In article 26 of the Code of the road transport approved by the Law No. 116-XIV of July 29, 1998 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1998, Art. No. 90-91, 581), with subsequent changes, to make the following change and addition:
to state the name of Article in the following edition:
"Article 26. Acceptance to transportation and transportation of perishable, dangerous, heavy, off-gage or other loads concerning which special requirements are established";
add Article with part (4) the following content:
"(4) Transportation by embankment/pile of useful mineral substances, construction materials and production wastes or consumption (except for qualified as dangerous goods concerning which special requirements are established) is performed by the closed or open vehicles provided that these loads are covered by tarpaulin.".
Art. II. – Article 224 of the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218-XVI of October 24, 2008 (2009, 15), with subsequent changes, to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 3-6, in the following edition:
"Article 224. Abuse of regulations of use of highways by vehicles
(1) Driving through national highways of vehicles on caterpillar to the course, on tires with protectors (except the period from December 1 to March 1), animal traction, and also vehicles which are not equipped as appropriate, transporting the loads which are not covered with tarpaulin which leakage can lead to pollution of pavings, roadside sites or to traffic delay attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 30 to 50 conventional units and on legal entities in the amount of 150 to 200 conventional units.
