Standard of the state service "Assignment and Prolongation of the Status of the Refugee in the Republic of Kazakhstan"

1. General provisions

1. The state service appears the territorial subdivisions of migratory police of law-enforcement bodies (further - territorial subdivision) specified in appendix 1 to this standard.

2. Form of the rendered state service: not automated.

3. The state service is rendered on the basis:

article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 4, 2009 "About refugees";

the orders of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 9, 2010 No. 183 "About approval of Rules of assignment, prolongation, deprivation and the termination of the status of the refugee in the Republic of Kazakhstan";

Information on procedure for rendering the state service can be obtained on official Internet resource of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - the Ministry) www.mvd.kz, in the Section "About Activities of Law-enforcement Bodies", departments of internal affairs of areas and the cities of Astana, Almaty (further - Department), at stands in territorial subdivisions, and also to the addresses specified in appendix 1 to this standard.

5. Results of the rendered state service are:

1) assignment of the status of the refugee and certification of the refugee;

2) prolongation of the status of the refugee;

7. Terms of rendering the state service:

1) the state service is rendered from the date of delivery by the receiver of the state service of necessary documents, within three months from the date of registration of the petition for assignment of the status of the refugee in territorial subdivision;

2) the most allowed time of expectation in queue in case of delivery of necessary documents depends on number of people in queue at the rate from 15 to 30 minutes on servicing of one client;

11. For receipt of the state service the receiver of the state service needs to submit the following documents:

1) the petition for assignment (prolongation) of the status of the refugee in form, according to appendix 2 to this standard;

2) the documents proving or confirming the personality of person who is looking for shelter;

3) the documents and materials confirming justification of the petition (in the presence).

The spouse (spouse) and minor children who is petitioning persons which arrived territory Republic of Kazakhstan later persons, received the status of the refugee in the Republic of Kazakhstan or person who is looking for shelter in case of submission of the petition for the purpose of reunion of family shall produce the evidence and (or) documents confirming them the family relations in authorized body.
