About modification and amendments in some legal acts

Art. I. - Article 16 of the Law on the status of the deputy of Parliament No. 39-XIII of April 7, 1994 (repeated publication: 2005, No. 59-61, of the Art. 201), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with parts (3) and (4) the following content:

"(3) Any absence of the deputy which is not connected with implementation of functional obligations of Parliament and permanent commission which part it is is considered absence without reasonable excuse.

(4) Absence of the deputy at parliamentary session in protest at the project included in the agenda announced by the chairman of fraction or non-aligned deputies is considered absence on reasonable excuse.".

Art. II. - In the Regulations of Parliament accepted by the Law No. 797-XIII of April 2, 1996 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, No. 50, of the Art. 237), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Article 129:

part (to add 2) with the offer: "Absence for the reasons, others what specified in this part, is considered absence without reasonable excuse.";

add Article with part (3) the following content:

"(3) the Permanent bureau establishes accounting treatment for presence of deputies at parliamentary sessions and the permanent commissions which part they are.".

2. State Article 131 in the following edition:

"Article 131. Unreasonable absence at meeting

Absence of the deputy without reasonable excuse within one month at three parliamentary sessions or the permanent commission which part it is is punished by deprivation of 50 percent of salary and other remunerations for the next month. Absence of the deputy without reasonable excuse within one month at four and more parliamentary sessions or the permanent commission which part it is is punished by deprivation of 75 percent of salary and other remunerations for the next month.".
