1. Approve Regulations on the Ministry of emergency situations of Ukraine it (is applied).
2. Declare invalid the Presidential decree of Ukraine of October 10, 2005 N 1430 "About Regulations on the Ministry of Ukraine concerning emergency situations and for protection of the population against effects of the Chernobyl catastrophic crash".
3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to bring in two-month time the decisions into accord with this Decree.
4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its publication.

1. The ministry of emergency situations of Ukraine (the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine is principal organ in system of the central executive bodies on forming and ensuring realization of state policy in the field of civil protection, rescue case and suppression of the fires, the state supervision in the field of technogenic, fire, industrial safety and mountain supervision, the treatment of radioactive waste, mitigation of consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophic crash, prevention of injury rate of non-productive nature, and also hydrometeorological activities.
2. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other acts of the legislation of Ukraine, and also orders of the President of Ukraine.
