About legal status of foreign citizens in the Republic of Armenia
This Law, based on the conventional principles and rules of international law, establishes procedure for entry into the Republic of Armenia, accommodation, movement, transit, departure of the foreign citizen, receipt by it of the residence permit, and also its rights and obligation in the Republic of Armenia.
The foreign citizen in the Republic of Armenia person which does not have citizenship of the Republic of Armenia who has nationality of other state is considered.
The foreign citizen in the Republic of Armenia has the rights and freedoms established by rules of international law and the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
The foreign citizen in the Republic of Armenia shall observe the laws of the Republic of Armenia, respect national customs and traditions of its people.
The legal status of the foreign citizen in the Republic of Armenia is regulated by this Law, and also other acts of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia of legal status of the foreign citizen.
If international treaties of the Republic of Armenia establish other regulations, than those which contain in this Law then are effective regulations of the international treaty.
