About especially protected natural territories
This Law governs the relations in the field of the organization, protection and use of especially protected natural territories for the purpose of preserving reference and unique natural complexes and objects, noteworthy natural educations, genetic fund of animal and flora, studying of natural processes in the biosphere and control of changes of its condition.
The relations connected with the organization, protection and use of especially protected natural territories are regulated by this Law, other acts of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic issued according to it.
The land, water, mountain, forest relations in the field of protection of atmospheric air, protection and use of animal and flora, protection and use of historical and cultural monuments are regulated by the special legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Especially protected natural territories are the sites of lands, waters (water areas) including natural complexes or separate objects of the nature for which the specific mode of protection and use is set.
The natural or artificially created natural complexes and objects of the nature having special ecological, nature protection, scientific, historical and cultural, esthetic, improving value can be carried to especially protected natural territories.
Especially protected natural territories are given the status of national parks (including biospheric), the state natural national parks, the state wildlife areas, the state nature sanctuaries, botanical gardens, dendrology parks, zoological parks, the natural territories of improving appointment.
By the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic also other categories of the protected natural territories can be provided.
