1. The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Ministry of Justice) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Justice is principal organ in system of the central executive bodies on ensuring realization of the state legal policy.
2. The Ministry of Justice in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and this Provision.
The ministry in accordance with the established procedure within the powers resolves issues which follow from the universally recognized norms of international law and international treaties of Ukraine which consent to be bound it is provided by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
3. The main tasks of Ministry of Justice are:
ensuring realization of the state legal policy and policy in the field of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the EU;
