1. The ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine (Minagropolitiki) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Minagropolitiki is principal organ in system of the central executive bodies concerning ensuring realization of the state agrarian policy, food security of the state, public administration in the field of agricultural industry, gardening, wine growing, food and processing industry and complex development of the rural territories.
2. Minagropolitiki in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and this Provision.
Minagropolitiki organizes and exercises systematic control over the implementation of acts of the legislation in limits of the powers.
