About beekeeping
This Law governs the relations in the field of production of products of beekeeping, protection, use and reproduction of bee families, their effective application for pollination of entomophillous cultures, creation of conditions for increase in productivity of beekeeping, and also crop production, providing guarantees of observance of the rights and interests of the physical persons and legal entities which are going in for beekeeping.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
beekeeping - industry of agricultural production which basis of functioning are cultivation, content and use of bees for pollination of entomophillous plants and increase in their productivity, product receipt of beekeeping;
the beekeeper - the physical person or legal entity which is going in for beekeeping;
bee family - the complete biological unit consisting of the working bees, drones and queen bee which are separately living in beehive or in nest;
beehive - construction for content of bee family;
apiary - the beehives placed in certain place with bee families and necessary property for occupation beekeeping;
the stationary apiary apiary placed on the permanent place within year;
nomadic apiary - apiary which by means of movement is placed at sources of honey harvest or arrays of entomophillous plants;
breeding economy and breeding zones - the business entities certified by the special representative state body in industry of beekeeping and enabling about cultivation and the realization of breeding bee families, breeding queen bees of certain breed;
breeding bee family - the highly productive family of thoroughbred bees which is steadily transferring to posterity the pedigree signs;
queen bee - the female providing reproduction of bee family;
