1. The state committee of television and broadcasting of Ukraine (Goskomteleradio) is the central executive body with the special status which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Goskomteleradio is specially authorized central executive body on ensuring realization of state policy in information and publishing spheres.
2. Goskomteleradio in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and this Provision.
Goskomteleradio generalizes practice of application of the legislation on questions which are within its competence, develops offers concerning enhancement of the legislation and in accordance with the established procedure submits them for consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
