About introduction of amendments to the Law on physical culture and sport No. 110/2025 (expansion of circle of subjects in the field of sport)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on physical culture and sport No. 110/2025 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2025, Art. No. 329-332, 376) to make the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

part (to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) This law regulates the organization and functioning of national system of physical culture and sport in the Republic of Moldova, procedure for financing, and also feature of creation and the organization of sports structures.";

add Article with part (1-1) following contents:

"(1-1) K to sports structures provisions of the Law on non-profit organizations No. 86/2020 in that measure in what they do not contradict provisions of this law are applied.".

2. In Article 2:

5) to state Item in the following edition:

"5) professional sports club - the public association, public organization or economic society created according to part (2) Article 245 of the Civil code No. 1107/2002, which advances professional sport and can belong to separate national sports federation or professional league;";

14) to state Item in the following edition:

"14) national sports federation - the public association of the national level founded by merging of sports schools, sports clubs and sports associations which according to the charter aims at development of separate sport and implementation of socially useful activities;";

in Item 18) of the word "the non-commercial association founded" shall be replaced with words "the public association, limited liability company or joint-stock company founded";

in Item 40) words", private institutions and public associations," shall be replaced with words "and legal entities of private law,".

3. Part (Article 4 to state 3) in the following edition:

"(3) the State encourages the actions for the organization and promotion of physical culture and sport held by bodies of public management and legal entities of public or private law.".
