About entering of amendment into the Law "About Police"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 17, 2025

Article 1. No. ZR-177 "About police" to add the law of April 16, 2001 with Article 9.2 of the following content:

"Article 9.2. Office of operational management of authorized body

1. The office of operational management is effective in structure of authorized body.

2. The main functions of office are:

1) the round-the-clock monitoring of criminogenic situation in the Republic of Armenia and forecasting and modeling of effects by its results;

2) acceptance of phone calls about offenses or accidents, and also information obtained by other methods or methods, provision of the corresponding consultations, registration, generalization, carrying out the analysis taking into account identification of the conditions and reasons which caused the specified offenses or accidents, and submission to relevant organs of public administration and local self-government;

3) transfer on subordination of information specified in Item 2 of this part, and, if necessary, ensuring rapid response;

4) provision of necessary information and the orienting data the employee who arrived to the place of offense or accident.".

Article 2.

1. This law becomes effective since February 15, 2026.

2. To the introduction of this law in force:

1) the charter of management of operational management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs affirms;

2) changes are made to charters of the Ministry of the Interior and Police.

3. From the date of entry into force of this law as a part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the office of operational management is effective, and activities of the Center of operational management of police stop.
