About entering of amendments into the Law "About Local Self-government in the City of Yerevan"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on January 20, 2026

Article 1. No. ZR-5 "About local self-government in the city of Yerevan" (further - the Law) to add part 1 of article 64 of the Law of December 26, 2008 with Items 5 and 6 of the following content:

"5) participates in process of development of the legal acts including components of mitigation of the consequences of climate change and adaptation, making direct or indirect impact on community and represents written line item;

6) is provided by fulfillment of requirements, Articles 28-30, stated in Articles 27, of 4, Sections 3 of the law on climate.".

Article 2. To add article 72 of the law with part 10 of the following content:

"10. In the budget of Yerevan the climatic marking of the budget can be realized.".

Article 3. To add part 6 of article 83 of the Law after the words "programs" with words ", and also the program joins the actions and approaches for mitigation of the consequences of climate change and adaptation following from climatic policy".

Article 4. This law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
