About entering of amendments and changes into the Law "About Protection of Atmospheric Air"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on January 20, 2026

Article 1. Part 1 of article 1 of the Law of October 11, 1994 No. ZR-121 "About protection of atmospheric air" (further - the Law) to add with Item 3 following of content:

"3) the relations connected with permissions to emissions of greenhouse gases.".

Article 2. To add part 2 of article 3 of the law with Item 5 of the following content:

"5) management of amounts of emissions of greenhouse gases.".

Article 3. Regarding 1 article 4 of the Law:

Item 19 after the words "number of emissions" to add 1) with words ", and in case of emissions of greenhouse gases - the administrative act which is reserving the right for emission of greenhouse gases", and to exclude the words "provision of the right" from the same Item;

To add 2) with Item 19.1 of the following content:

"19. 1) the request for receipt of permission to emission of greenhouse gases - document package about sources of emissions of greenhouse gases and quantity characteristics of the greenhouse gases emitted from them which legal entities and individual entrepreneurs represent to authorized body for the purpose of receipt of permission to emission of greenhouse gases;";

3) to state Item 31 in the following edition:

"31) greenhouse gases - it the concept matters, determined in the Law "About Climate";".

Article 4. Regarding 1 article 5 of the Law:
