Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About protection of the population against emergency situations of natural and technogenic nature" of July 15, 2004 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2004, No. 7, the Art. 460) the following changes and amendments:
1. In the paragraph the second Article 2 to replace the word "system" with the word "complex".
2. In Article 5 part two to replace the word "but" with the word "on".
3. In the name of Articles 8 and 9 to replace the word "Powers" with the word "Competence".
4. In Article 11:
- to exclude the word of "power" from the name;
- in paragraphs three and the seventh to "prevention" and "prevention" respectively shall be replaced with words word parts two to "prevention" and "prevention".
5. Add Chapter 2 with article 16-1 of the following content:
"Article 16-1. National Platform on decrease in risk of natural disasters
For the purpose of forming and coordination of activities in the field of decrease in risk of natural disasters and technogenic accidents, and also the human victims and social and economic damage, carrying out consultation concerning decrease in risk of natural disasters in strategy, plans and development programs the National platform on decrease in risk of natural disasters as consultative body is created.
The provision and structure of the National platform on decrease in risk of natural disasters affirm the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.".
6. In part two of Article 24 of the word of "reserve fund" shall be replaced with words "fund of contingencies".
