About modification and amendments in the Law "About Bodies of Homeland Security"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 4, 2025
Article 1. Regarding 1 article 15 of the Law of December 28, 2001 No. ZR-294 "About bodies of homeland security" (further - the Law):
1) to state Item 5.1 in the following edition:
"5. 1) within the competence perform ensuring information security (including cyber security) official websites of state bodies, electronic platforms and other information systems and crucial information infrastructures;";
2) to state Item 5.2 in the following edition:
"5. 2) are coordinated in the operating procedure established by the law on response to cyberincidents of information systems and critical information infrastructures;";
3) in Item 5.4 of the word are "performed" shall be be replaced with words "perform within the competence";
To add 4) with Items 5.7 and 5.8 of the following content:
"5. 7) is performed by powers and functions of authorized and autonomous bodies in the field of defense, homeland security and the external relations, and also according to the law "About Cyber Security" concerning the information systems and critical information infrastructures approved by the list established by the government, and assigned to authorized body including according to requirements (standards) established by the law "About Cyber Security";
5. 8) to operate information systems for the information security of state bodies which is posted online (including official websites of state bodies), and also for ensuring safe connection of state bodies to the Internet;".
Article 2. To add article 15 of the law with parts 1.1 and 1.2 of the following content:
"1.1. For implementation of the powers and functions provided by Items 5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.7 and 5.8 of part of 1 this Article in system of authorized body the national center of cyberprotection (National Cyber Defense Center) as structural division is created.
