About modification of the Order of the Government No. 522/2019 about samples of identification documents of national passport system (approval of new samples of passports and travel documents)

Based on part (1) article 4 of the Law No. 273/1994 on identification documents of national passport system (repeated publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2025, Art. No. 620-622, 760), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

This resolution partially shifts (shifts part (2) Articles 1, part (2) Articles 4, Item 2 and the subitem C of Item 3 appendices) Regulations (EU) No. 2252/2004 of Council of December 13, 2004 about standards for remedies and biometric data in the passports and travel documents issued by state members published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 385 of December 29, 2004, CELEX: 32004R2252, with the last changes made by Regulations (EU) No. 444/2009 of the European parliament and Council of May 28, 2009.

1. In the Order of the Government No. 522/2019 about samples of identification documents of national passport system (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2019, Art. No. 346-351, 855), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1.1. in the resolution:

1.1.1. in all text of the resolution of the word "passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova" in any grammatical form to replace with the word "passport" in the corresponding grammatical form;
