About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About cinematography"
Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Items 1 and 15 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:
In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About cinematography" (The collection of legal acts of the Azerbaijan Republic, 1998, No. 8, Article 489 (volume I); 2024, No. 5 (the book I), Article 489) to make the following changes:
1. In the first part of Article 1:
1.1. consider the fourth or eighth paragraphs respectively the eleventh or fifteenth paragraphs, and the ninth or fifteenth paragraphs - according to the eighteenth-twenty fourth paragraphs;
1.2. Add the fourth or tenth, sixteenth and seventeenth paragraphs of the following content:
"the domestic movie - the movie which is not considered foreign and meeting the requirements specified in article 4 of this Law;
the foreign movie - the movie which is completely made by the foreign producer (producers);
the movie of coproduction - the movie jointly made by local and foreign producers and which is not considered as the national movie;
film production - the process including stages of preparation for shootings, shootings and completion of shootings;
preparation for shootings - the process including creation of the idea of the movie, development of the concept, script writing and the solution of other administrative technical issues for the purpose of shootings;
filming - the process including the actions providing direct shooting on film or other carriers;
completion of shootings - the process including installation of the finished shooting material, visual, sound and color processing of the movie, effects, credits and graphic design;";
the local producer - the producer who is the citizen of the Azerbaijan Republic or the legal entity registered in the Azerbaijan Republic in the procedure established by the law;
