Based on Art. 21 and Art. 29 of the Law No. 221/2007 on veterinary and sanitary activities, Art. 15 of h (1) to the item (e) of the Law No. 1031/2000 on state regulation of foreign trade activity, the Order of the Government No. 1374/2016 about approval of the Sanitary and veterinary regulation about establishment of general measures on fight against certain diseases of animal and specific measures against vesicular disease of pigs, the item of 14 subitems 16), item 19 of the Order of the Government No. 14/2023 about the organization and functioning of the National agency for safety of foodstuff, the notification through the IMSOC-ADIS GR-FMD-2026-00001, system in connection with the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease at cattle and sheep in Greece, for the purpose of non-admission of penetration and distribution in the territory of the Republic of Moldova I ORDER:

1. To temporarily suspend import of the live animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease virus (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs), the meat, products and other derivatives received from the animals susceptible to virus of foot-and-mouth disease, the seed material, the offal intended and which is not intended for consumption by the person of the ova and embryos coming from the nominated animals from Greece.

2. To review the suspension provided in Item 1 of this order after provision of information on the regionalization accepted by European Union Commission, according to Regulations (EU) 2016/429 European parliament and Council of March 9, 2016 about transmissible diseases of animals and about modification and recognition voided some acts in the field of health of animals ("The law about health of animals").
