1. Approve the Sanitary and veterinary regulation about establishment of general measures on fight against certain diseases of animal and specific measures against vesicular disease of pigs, according to appendix.

2. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the National agency on safety of foodstuff.

Sanitary and veterinary regulation about establishment of general measures on fight against certain diseases of animal and specific measures against vesicular disease of pigs

This sanitary and veterinary regulation shifts provisions of the Directive 92/119/CEE of Council of December 17, 1992 about establishment of general measures on fight against certain diseases of animal and specific measures against the vesicular disease of pigs published in the Official magazine of the European Union series L 62 of March 15, 1993, the item 69, with subsequent changes.

I. General provisions

1. The sanitary and veterinary regulation about establishment of general measures on fight against certain diseases of animal and specific measures against vesicular disease of pigs (further – the Sanitary and veterinary regulation) determines general measures by control which should be applied for the purpose of prevention of the center of one of the diseases listed in this Sanitary and veterinary regulation.

2. In this Sanitary and veterinary regulation the following determinations are applied:

the animal – any pet susceptible is direct to one of the diseases specified in Item 3 of this Sanitary and veterinary regulation or any wild vertebrate animal who can promote disease epidemiology, acting as the carrier or source of disease;

the intact animal – any animal coming from the herd which was not injured from one of the diseases specified in Item 3 of this Sanitary and veterinary regulation is obligatory from out of epizootic zone and which was not vaccinated against this disease;

vector – any vertebrate or not vertebrate animal who in the mechanical or biological ways the agent of the corresponding disease can transfer or extend;

the owner or holder – any physical person or legal entity which has animals in the property or which looks after these animals, with obtaining or without receipt of financial compensation;

confirmation of disease – declaring by competent authority of availability of any of the diseases listed in this Sanitary and veterinary regulation based on laboratory results or confirmation of disease based on clinical and/or epidemiological results;

the incubatory period – the period from contact with the agent of disease before establishment of clinical symptoms for the corresponding disease specified in this Sanitary and veterinary regulation;

competent authority – the National agency on safety of foodstuff (further – the Agency), territorial subdivisions of the Agency within warrants of law;
