About introduction of temporary ban on import (import) of saplings of grades of fruit and berry cultures to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic
For the purpose of ensuring food security by means of increase in efficiency of agricultural production, control of the saplings of fruit and berry cultures imported on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to article 47 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, articles 13, of the 17th constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:
1. Establish temporary ban since March 1, 2026 for a period of six months on import of saplings of grades of fruit and berry cultures to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, except for grades of the fruit and berry cultures specified in appendix to this resolution. This prohibition is not applied to the goods occurring from customs area of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union and moved within mutual trade on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union according to the procedure, the established Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union and the Customs code of the Eurasian Economic Union, and also transit of saplings of fruit and berry cultures through the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. To the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic in accordance with the established procedure to notify Committee on protective measures of the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian economic commission on introduction of the temporary ban specified in Item 1 of this resolution.
3. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic no later than three days from the effective date of this resolution in accordance with the established procedure to notify Executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States on introduction of the temporary ban specified in Item 1 of this resolution.
