In our country system work on fight against crime and providing the effective organization of prevention of offenses is carried out.
At the same time the particularly important becomes further enhancement according to modern requirements of system of moral education of the convicts and persons who were earlier making offenses, and also preventions of making by them of returns to crime or offenses.
This Law makes changes and additions to the Criminal, Criminal procedure and Criminal and executive codes of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing reducing term of punishment to the convicts who followed way of correction.
This Law also makes changes to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About prevention of offenses", the statements providing optimization of the bases on preventive accounting, and also determination of types of the administrative offenses which are subject to preventive accounting proceeding from such criteria as degree of their public danger, nature, and also possibility of making of criminal act in the future.
This Law will serve increase in overall performance on moral correction of convicts, forming at them of respect for rules and traditions of society, and also counteraction of crime and the prevention of offenses in the country by further enhancement of the measures taken concerning persons staying on the preventive registry.
